The episode starts with Tarakasur challenging Shiv to fight with him or else he will trouble his innocent baratis/wedding guests more. Shiv says war is not a solution for everything and he can seek anything in exchange of war. Tarakasur he knew Shiv will not fight for the sake of the living beings of the universe, so he wants Shiv to have marriage but have a son. Shiv says he can’t promise him that. Tarakasur says then he will kill all the baratis and send their dead bodies to him. Baratis plead Mahadev to save them. Tarakasur asks Mahadev to agree to his condition to save his baratis’ life. Shiv says Tarakasur is calling his end by himself and says he can’t promise not to have kids, but Tarakasur will not die until his sons die. Shiv says Tarakasur will have 3 sons who will be with him till Shiv’s son is born and would be more powerful than his son, Tarakasur should get on a path of bhakti/devotion like his father. Tarakasur accepts his boon. Shiv asks him to free baratis then.
Tarakasur tells shiv that he easily gave him a boon to have 3 sons and accepted all his demands without any argument, people say right that he is really Mahadev. He accepts devoting himself to Mahadev and says his boon is incomplete and wants him to accept one more wish to free his guests. Shiv asks what does he need. Tarakasur says shiv astra/weapon. He says nothing is important to Mahadev than jagat kalyan, let us see if he will give his shiv astra or not. Shiv recalls Rati cursing Parvati that she will never become a mother. Tarakasur asks if he will save his guests or his upcoming son. Narayan thinks if Shiv gives his shiv astra, it’s outcome would be very bad.
Tarakasur says everyone knows that there is no way to escape from shiv astra and would die for sure. Shiv stands silent. Tarakasur says his silence proved that his son is more important to him than jagat kalyan, now his guests would be trapped forever and even Shiv will be trapped in a son’s infatuation, he will face humiliation both says. Shiv says Tarakasur is infatuated by life and his infatuation brought him to a point from which he can’t return back. He tells Tarakasur that maintaining balance is his duty and he can sacrifice anything to maintain balance.
Precap: Shiv and Parvati get into mandap. A guest notices abshagun and asks how will their wedding happen now. Parvati says she loves Mahadev, Mahadev is complete and she will become his more than better half.
