Honestly, I really feel like the show is losing its charm and vibe. They created such distance between Sahan, that even though Sahiba’s life is more peaceful, the whole show altogether doesn’t seem as interesting, but it’s good to see Sahiba not verbally abused everyday either. Diljeeth is a good man no doubt, but his pampering and love for Akir is too extreme in my opinion, though they do share a good bond. You can’t give into everything a child wants or says. I know people want a YRKKH repeat, but I really don’t think this show can survive without Sahan – Himanshi/VJ’s chemistry (though the TRP and other viewers can better speak to that), and I don’t see any spark (nor do I want there to be) between Diljeeth and Sahiba. But the makers with the talk of another baby and the BGM today at the clinic are just trying to make it happen, and ITV can engineer chemistry/a love story in minutes like fast food, so what do I know?
At the same time, with the distance in time and personalities between Sahan it just doesn’t seem like any reconciliation is likely, but I think it will be more apparent once they actually confront one another and we’ll see if the spark is still there. Plus, if they bring in another woman for Angad, well see if Sahan are actually jealous of each other, or are ready to move on. As for Angad, he is in a way like Diljeeth (though more toxic), in that he spoils Simran and basically locked her friends in….also too extreme. But I do like that he was teaching her punctuality…..I know Brar Mansion is a toxic place and I don’t see Akir fitting in there (though time and the writing will tell) except with Bani/the Bawejas, but if Angad does become a better person/father and loses his anger/ego and Sahan co-parent the child, there are definitely some good qualities Akir can learn from Angad, especially discipline and a good work ethic.
Also, I hope that they show that Angad took care of Sahiba’s parents and Keerat at least when she was not there, but let’s see. Plus, once Sahan confront each other and Angad eventually realizes his mistakes, I really don’t want him to expect or try to come back into Sahiba’s life, just try to maintain a relationship with Akir without disrupting his life, and then Sahan gets back together later on. I really don’t want to see a petty/jealous Angad and a glorified Diljeeth. It would be nice if somehow Angad and Akhir develop a friendship/bonding when Akir becomes friends with Bani without him knowing that is his son.
All I can hope for is that Diljeeth will die saving Akir or something during the custody battle, Sahiba and him not falling in love, Sahiba will move back into her parents’ home and leave that village setting (lord please….why couldn’t she live in a city lol), Sahan will co-parent the child, Sahiba focuses on her career, and then Sahan become friends and fall in love, after Angad reforms completely and first develops a bond with Akir (I think Akir, Simran, and Angad would also have the commonality (if Diljeeth dies) of having lost their father. Let’s see, though I know my opinion is unpopular. In any case, I can only envision either Diljeeth OR Angad in Akir’s life, not both. If Diljeeth stays alive, I don’t see Sahiba ever leaving him because his love alone for Akir and support he gave her probably means more to her than any feelings she and Angad shared in the past. Or maybe during the custody battle, Sahiba will decide to get married to Diljeeth for real to have stability for Akir (because I’m guessing this is a sham marriage – Sahan’s divorce was never finalized), but Diljeeth will realize Sahiba still loves Angad and will help bring them together.
But I’m again not banking on any of this happening, but manifesting it haha!
