In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande opened up emotionally about her late ex-boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. During a heartfelt conversation with Munawar Faruqui, Ankita shared her reasons for not attending Sushant’s funeral, despite encouragement from her husband, Vicky Jain. She delved into her feelings about Sushant’s untimely demise and expressed her understanding of what went ‘wrong’ with the actor.

In the conversation, Ankita requested Munawar to avoid reciting lines related to heartbreak, as they deeply affect her. Despite this sensitivity, she appreciated his sentiments and proceeded to sing “Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega” from Sushant’s film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Recounting Sushant’s goodness, Ankita shared the strange feelings she experiences when referring to him in the past tense, acknowledging that it took time for her to come to terms with his absence. Munawar, who had met Sushant at a special screening of MS Dhoni, inquired if Ankita knew what ‘went wrong’ with him.

Ankita revealed, “Main toh uske funeral pe bhi nahi gayi thi. Main jaa hi nahi paayi. Mujhe laga main nahi dekh sakti yeh. Vicky ne bola ki tu ja kar aa. Maine kaha nahi. Kaise dekh sakti hun. (I did not even go to the funeral. I couldn’t go. I thought I wouldn’t be able to see that. Vicky asked me to go, but I couldn’t muster up that courage).”

Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita’s former long-time boyfriend, passed away on June 14, 2020. Ankita, now married to Vicky Jain, is a participant in the ongoing season of Bigg Boss 17, where she candidly shared her emotions and memories connected to Sushant.
