One of the guests asks Devansh if he feels bad that Avinash is getting married first. Devansh replies that he’ll marry when he finds his perfect match. Prabhat and Chandrika welcome the guests. Chandrika tells Devansh the arrangements are perfect. Meanwhile, Avinash wonders if trusting Sarika was a mistake but concludes he has no other choice. Sarika arrives and tells Avinash to smile, assuring him the engagement won’t happen.
Karishma’s family arrives, and Karishma dances, pulling Avinash to join her. Vasudha begins dancing but is stopped by Savitri. Sarika notices a girl and becomes excited, taking her aside. Sarika asks if the girl remembers the plan. The girl confirms she is to interrupt the engagement by claiming she loves Avinash and can’t live without him. Sarika tells her to make an entrance at the right time and thinks she’s brought the perfect pawn to ruin Karishma’s dream.
Chandrika instructs Sarika to take Karishma inside. Sarika obliges. The girl asks Vasudha for hot water. Vasudha questions which side she’s from, but the girl refuses to answer, and Vasudha leaves.
Sarika helps Karishma get ready. Karishma remarks that Chandrika never spent so much on Sarika’s marriage and says Chandrika should spend lavishly for a smart daughter-in-law like her. She adds that she knows Sarika hates her, but Sarika seems happy. Sarika tells her to enjoy her day. Suspicious, Karishma senses Sarika is planning something.
The girl rehearses her act. Vasudha gives her water and again wonders which side she’s from but leaves when Savitri calls her. Elsewhere, Devansh tells Avinash he’s happy for him. Avinash thinks he’s happy because the engagement won’t happen.
Kavita compliments Karishma, saying Sarika didn’t think Karishma would become the Chauhan family’s daughter-in-law, but Chandrika made Sarika Karishma’s assistant. Karishma says Sarika will drop to third place from second and leaves with Kavita.
Sarika calls the girl to check if she’s ready. The girl reassures her that the engagement won’t happen, and Chandrika will be humiliated. Vasudha overhears and scolds the girl for planning to insult Chandrika and stop the engagement. Sarika hears Vasudha’s voice and warns the girl to be careful.
Vasudha threatens to beat the girl if she doesn’t leave. The girl runs away, and Vasudha tells security to prevent her re-entry. Sarika realizes her plan is ruined and wonders how to stop the engagement now. Avinash asks what happened, and Sarika tells him the girl she hired has fled.
Avinash and Karishma proceed to the stage. Devansh hands them the rings, and they exchange them. Karishma murmurs to Avinash that his bad time has begun.
