Suman tells her mom she needs an extra 10,000 rupees to pay Boomi’s school fees. She overhears a politician making promises and comments that he’s giving fake assurances and will forget about them once he’s in power. While talking, Suman spots her brother, Rishi, sneaking into an opposition party rally. She quickly stops him from causing trouble and drags him away. Rishi tells her to mind her own business, but Suman demands to see what he’s holding. Rishi refuses, so she snatches it from him, shocked to find ink in his hand. She scolds him for taking such a dangerous risk, warning that the opposition party wouldn’t have spared him if he caused a problem. Rishi argues that politicians don’t speak without thinking, but Suman insists he’s being reckless. As they argue, Rishi’s phone rings, and Suman answers it. It’s Teerth, asking Rishi to meet him at the party office. Suman decides she wants to see the politician who’s causing trouble in her family and making them struggle.
Suman confronts Teerth at his office, calling him “brother” sarcastically. She accuses him of using Rishi for his dirty plans and risking her brother’s life. She asks what he would have done if the opposition party had attacked Rishi. Although Teerth claims Rishi is like a brother to him, Suman says she only has one brother, and he’s the one being put in danger. Rishi tries to defend Teerth, saying he wouldn’t ask him to do anything without careful thought. He mentions that Teerth even paid Boomi’s school fees. But Suman retorts that Teerth made Rishi risk his life for that money, and she won’t accept money that comes from dirty hands. She warns Teerth that if anything happens to her brother, she won’t forgive him or let it slide. After she leaves, Teerth asks Rishi what exactly happened. As Rishi explains, Teerth thinks that Suman should’ve stayed out of his business—now she’ll have to face the consequences.
Suman scolds Rishi for blindly trusting a politician, saying they only care about themselves. Rishi defends Teerth, assuring her that he’s different from other politicians, but Suman insists that Rishi doesn’t understand the world. Rishi argues that he’s not a child and knows right from wrong. Meanwhile, the police arrive at Teerth’s house. They inform Chandrashekhar that they’re there to arrest someone for causing trouble at the opposition party’s rally. Chandrashekhar insists that he’s too busy with his business to get involved in politics and knows nothing about the opposition. But the police clarify that they’re there to arrest his son, Teerth, with evidence against him. Rithvika, Teerth’s sister, panics and tries to shift the blame onto Rishi, saying he’s the one who planned to throw ink at the rally. Teerth thanks the police for their help and asks Rithvika how she knew about the plan. When she hesitates, Teerth threatens to cut ties with her, so she reveals the truth. Although disappointed, Chandrashekhar warns her not to make the same mistake again.
Teerth then leaves, and Suman confronts her brother again, furious that he’s still working for Teerth. When Teerth arrives, Suman accidentally spills water on him, ending their confrontation awkwardly.
