The Episode starts with Chandrakant asking Suman to call Rishi after 2 hours, and warns her not to do anything wrong in function or rasam. He asks her to get ready and come for function. Suman thinks Rishi wanted me to fulfill this relation, and I will do it at any cost. Suman’s family has brought Rishi’s dead body home. Everyone thinks of Rishi. Gulshan is standing and happy, looking at him. Pandit ji asks them to fold their hands and pray. He says time has come to take the dead body for the last rites. Malini asks Hema, what to do, Sumi haven’t come now till now. Suman thinks to get ready fast and go, and thinks Dulari didn’t give the charger. Teerth knocks on the door and comes inside. He says sorry about yesterday. Suman says its ok. She asks if you have any info about Rishi. He says his phone is off, and says he must be fine, and says I saw how he was smiling, when we got married. He says we will go there after the rasam. Pandit ji asks them to hurry up. Devika separates their hands and takes Suman to meet the guests. Chandrakant’s sister baby praises Suman’s beauty and appreciates Devika for accepting Kritika’s sautan. Chandrakant asks her to stop it. Gitanjali tells Ganesh ji that she has accepted Suman as Teerth’s wife and asks him to make everything fine. She comes to Suman and Teerth, and asks everyone to see Suman’s face in the mirror and keeps the gifts in the tray. She says just like the rasam completes, nanand and dewar will show her face to everyone. She is about to see the face, when Bhumi comes there calling Suman and says Rishi Bhaiyya. Suman is shocked, and lifts the ghunghat. Bhumi says Rishi Bhaiyya….Suman asks what happened to Rishi. Bhumi says Rishi Bhaiyya is no more.
Suman and Teerth are in shock. Everyone looks shocked too. Suman gets up shouting no, my Rishi can’t leave me. She gets up and the sindoor and gifts thaali falls down. She says my Rishi can’t leave me, and is about to run out, when Devika holds her hand and says it will be abshagun if you leave the rasam. Suman says nobody will stop me today, not even God. Devika tries to stop her again. Suman pushes her and runs. Guru helps her get up. Devika taunts that bahu went out with colored feet. She calls Teerth. Teerth asks if you didn’t hear them, and tells that her brother is dead, and you care for the rasam. He goes. Devika folds her hands before the guests, and apologizes to everyone, and says everyone don’t have values like me. She says everything is in papa ji and sasuma’s hands. She thinks Papa ji will not let Suman enter the house again. Chandrakant says you have done the duty of a jethani and welcome chaat wali. Suman is running on the road, followed by Bhumi and Teerth. Chandrakant says that Chaat wali’s bhai is dead, she can’t do muh dikhayi in this situation, and asks her to understand. At the crematorium ground, Suman looks at Rishi and cries. She recalls his words that she is his suraksha kawach. She shouts Rishi and cries. Gulshan smiles. Everyone looks sad.
