Scene 1
Shiv looks at Shakti giving her exams. She smiles looking at him. Shiv waits outside. He sees inside again. Shakti comes out. She says you’re peeking in the room full of girls? You’ve such a pretty wife. He says what rubbish. She says you were looking inside. Who were you staring at? Shiv says are you crazy? Shakti says see what are you doing here. What will people say? He says to be quiet. He puts a hand on her mouth. Shakti’s classmates laugh at her and tease them. Shiv says stop shouting now. She asks who were you staring at? He says I was looking for you. She says you were staring at me? He says I was just looking. She says you can stare now. So romantic. you can go ahead from staring as well. He leaves. Shakti laughs. She says I know why you came here. Don’t worry I will never give up on my dream. Keertan comes there and says you’re only mine Shakti. I can’t see you with anyone else.
Scene 2
Shakti asks Kartik how do you study so much. He says my exams are tough. Shakti helps him with homework. He says doctors also have homework? Shakti says yes a lot of it. Shakti sees his drawing. He hides them. Shakti says why are hiding it?? Show me. She sees the sketches and says you do it so well. You’re so talented. I am your fan. Kartik says teacher scolds me because I waste tie on it. Shakti says part-time isn’t a waste. I will get you a lot of drawing books but you have to study as well. He says will you hit me like a teacher? Shakti says never. And if anyone hits you let me know. Shakti hugs him and says I will find a solution. No secrets between us.
Scene 2
The maid brings Shiv’s medicines. She tells the schedule. Shakti says I know his medicine schedule. Mandira is angry. Pandma says to Mandira Shakti keeps defeating you. She’s protecting Shiv and Kartik both from you. Mandira is angry. She says all your plan is ruined. You said Shakti would leave the house the first night. She didn’t go anywhere and you got Rimjim as your DIL. Shiv does everything Shakti says now. She’s very clever. Mandira says angry. She says Shakti can’t do anything. She says my roots in this house as so strong no one can move them. She can’t win from me by doing such small things. The medicines she took from me will defeat her.
Shakti comes there and throws the medicines in the pot. She throws water on it. Padma and Mandira are shocked. Mandira says what is this? Shakti throws all medicines there. She says I am a to-be doctor. We’re taught if any medicine makes patients’ situation worse, we should discard them like this. Mandira says what do you mean? She says the world is very bad. People give their own family bad meds to harm them. Like I don’t trust you, I don’t trust your medicines either. I know it’s not a big deal to get Shiv’s medicines fabricated.
