Mahadev humbly requests Rishi Agastya to allow him to wash his feet, explaining that true devotion eliminates all differences between the Lord and His devotee. Rishi Agastya hesitates but eventually agrees. As Mahadev washes his feet, Rishi Agastya chants Har Har Mahadev, and the chains binding him fall, landing in front of the Asur Jimrasur. Shukracharya warns Jimrasur to abandon arrogance and focus on serving the Asurs, but Jimrasur remains defiant.
Rishi Agastya reveals to Mahadev and Goddess Parvati that he needs Kartikeya to confront Jimrasur and Kronch, the latter being Parvati’s brother. Goddess Parvati resists the idea, torn between her loyalty to her brother and her son’s duty. Despite her protests, Mahadev emphasizes the suffering caused by Jimrasur’s tyranny and insists Kartikeya must go. Parvati tries to block Mahadev’s decision by building a wall, but Mahadev breaks it, asserting his responsibility to restore balance.
Shukracharya informs Kronch that Kartikeya is coming to confront him. Kronch dismisses the threat, believing Parvati will protect him. However, Parvati ultimately supports Kartikeya, urging him to punish Kronch if he is guilty. She also advises Kronch to surrender if he wants to avoid death, but Kronch rejects her plea, severing their sibling bond.
Jimrasur plots to kill Rishi Agastya and boasts about his control over the region through oppression. Kartikeya, with Shiv Shakti’s blessings, sets out with Rishi Agastya to face Kronch. As Kartikeya confronts Kronch, he offers him a chance to surrender. Kronch refuses, mocking Kartikeya and challenging him to a fight. Kartikeya accepts the challenge, ready to fulfill his duty.
