Meenakshi reassures Kanchanmala that Sundar is fine and leaves. Kanchanmala believes Sundar is Mahadev, which is why he remained unharmed, but she decides not to reveal this to Shakti. Meanwhile, Sundar, confused about his identity, pleads with Mahadev for answers. The Basti people also want to know who he truly is.
Vayu informs Arunasur about Sundar, and Arunasur vows to kill him. However, Shukracharya and Diti insist that their focus should be on Vayu and Meenakshi’s marriage. Arunasur agrees, assuming Meenakshi will obey him. Kanchanmala overhears and warns Meenakshi, who is shocked and rushes away.
Narad expresses concern to Narayan, stating that Meenakshi cannot marry Vayu. Narayan acknowledges his worry but says he cannot interfere with destiny. When Meenakshi meets Arunasur, he commands her to marry Vayu. She confesses her love for Arunasur but agrees to the marriage for his sake, leaving Kanchanmala worried.
Narad and Narayan are shocked by Meenakshi’s decision. Meanwhile, Sundar wonders why he feels a deep connection with Meenakshi. However, Meenakshi later discourages Vayu by telling him he will never receive love or respect from her, as she will always remembers how Sundar defeated him. She challenges him to make Sundar her slave before marriage. Vayu then tells Arunasur that he cannot marry Meenakshi yet due to an astrological issue. Later, he informs Meenakshi that the wedding has been postponed.
The next day, Arunasur’s soldiers demand taxes from the locality people, who are unable to pay. When the soldiers begin to beat them, Sundar intervenes. Meenakshi arrives and warns him to leave, but Sundar stands firm, declaring their actions unjust. He challenges the soldiers and fights them off.
