Yamraj announces the Ganagaur Puja and prepares to leave. However, devotees and Mahadev request him to stay and participate. One lady notices Devi Parvati’s injured hand, ties a cloth around it, and invites her to join the celebration. Devi Parvati agrees, and the women perform a Ghoomar dance. After the celebration, Yamraj bids farewell to Shiv Shakti and departs. The devotees thank Shiv Shakti before they leave as well.
Meanwhile, Diti releases Arunasur from prison. Arunasur, filled with rage and sorrow over his brother Jimrasur’s death, vows revenge. Shukracharya and Ragu encourage him, with Diti reminding him of his power. Arunasur recounts how Brahmadev once granted him a boon: only a six-legged being can kill him, women who meet his eyes will fall in love with him, and men will become his slaves. In his arrogance, Arunasur declares he will make Devi Parvati his and enslave Mahadev.
Elsewhere, Devi Parvati reflects on the celebration and tells Mahadev to return to Kailash alone. When Mahadev questions her, she admits she feels their relationship is defined by shivatva (divinity) and not just love. Mahadev reassures her, offering to live as a normal man and love her as her husband. Parvati joyfully agrees, and they embrace, shedding their divine forms and becoming human. The earth is momentarily shrouded in darkness, puzzling devotees and even Lord Narayan, who sees only two sources of light.
Arunasur begins using his powers on couples, enslaving men and making women fall for him. He sets his sights on breaking Parvati’s pativrata (devotion to her husband) and enslaving Mahadev. Meanwhile, Parvati leaves Shivatva behind and declares that Mahadev is now solely hers. Their union restores light to the earth, bringing joy to the devotees. Brahmadev marvels at this divine leela as Mahadev and devi Parvati embrace.
In another act of destruction, Arunasur encounters King and Queen Kanchan Mala performing a hawan. Intrigued by the queen’s beauty, he kills the soldiers guarding them and moves toward her with malicious intent.
