The Episode starts with Narayani declaring that she will not eat anything until her son arrives. Vijay tries to console his wife, urging her to eat, but Narayani remains adamant in her decision. Ishaan’s sister and her husband arrive, but Narayani soon realizes that Digvijay hasn’t come with them. She tries calling Digvijay, and just then, he walks in. Narayani immediately asks him where he had been. Digvijay learns from his sister that his mother’s blood pressure is low, and he becomes angry with Rani, demanding to know where she had been. However, Rani tells him to stay out of the matter concerning the girl.
Devu advises Rani not to ruin her marriage, and Rani apologizes to Narayani, admitting she had been joking with them earlier. Everyone, including Rani, pleads with Narayani to eat the food, and after some persuasion, Narayani and Baa finally eat. Vijay expresses how proud he is of Rani, and even Ishaan’s father praises her. Narayani warmly welcomes her son-in-law and his wife, and Vijay apologizes to Rani on behalf of his family, though Rani reassures him that there’s no need for apologies.
Digvijay confronts Rani, asking her what she told his mother and Baa. Rani tells him that his mother was going to auction him off and that she doesn’t consider him an animal. In response, Rani packs her bags, deciding that she will leave, as Digvijay’s family doesn’t accept her. Devu and her family try to stop her, with Devu crying, but Rani is resolute. Digvijay, confused, asks if Rani is eloping, but she refuses his offer to help her, citing the fact that his mother hates her as the reason for her departure. Digvijay calls her a coward and a runaway, which only strengthens Rani’s resolve. She tells Devu that she won’t leave and accepts Digvijay’s challenge, vowing to stay and prove that she’s not a runaway.
The sangeet ceremony is about to begin, and Digvijay keeps looking for Rani. Ishaan teases him, asking if he’s ready for a new beginning. Devu and Ishaan go to seek blessings from the elders. Narayani inquires about the mehndi artist, and Hitesh learns that the artist has met with an accident. Rani quickly comes up with an idea and reassures Hitesh that she’ll handle the situation. As everyone begins dancing, Narayani informs Baa that the mehndi artist has not yet arrived. Rani then asks Sunita where the mehndi artist is and, in disguise, arrives with her friend under a veil. Rani and her friend start applying the mehndi, and Digvijay begins to suspect that Rani is hiding under the veil. Despite his doubts, Rani continues to hide her identity. Devu asks Hitesh where Rani is.
Precap: Digvijay requests the mehndi artist to write a name on his hand, and in an accidental turn of events, Rani’s disguise is revealed when she removes her veil.
