Rani’s mother is distributing sweets in the neighborhood when Rani’s father learns from his sister-in-law that Rani is on television. Niranjan watches the broadcast, and his sister-in-law warns him to control Rani since she is soon to be married into their family. Niranjan tells his family that Mrs. Demani was about to break off the engagement, which adds to the tension. Rani returns home and tells Niranjan that she topped her exam and wants admission to a college in Ahmedabad. Niranjan insists that she will not pursue her dream of becoming a doctor because marriage is her priority. In the hospital, the operation on Rani is successful, but Digvijay’s senior tries to take credit for the procedure. Digvijay refuses to let him speak to the media, opting to address the press himself.
Rani discusses her dreams of becoming a doctor with her father, but Niranjan insists that her future will be decided by her husband’s family. Her brother reveals that the Demani diamond company is investing in their business, which reinforces Niranjan’s decision to marry Rani off. Digvijay is giving an interview when his senior interrupts, bringing up Digvijay’s past relationship and the breakup with his girlfriend. The media inquires about his leaving the hospital after such a successful operation. Digvijay confronts his ex-girlfriend at her wedding, but she refuses to marry him.
Rani receives a letter from her mother urging her to prioritize her dreams. Rani reflects on how her mother always encouraged her to follow her aspirations, despite her father’s advice to avoid becoming like her mother, who also had dreams but was unable to fulfill them.
Niranjan believes he must ensure Rani marries into the Bimani family for the good of their household. He orders his wife to distribute sweets in Rani’s school to celebrate her exam success and to cook her favorite foods. Rani, showing a picture of Digvijay to her sister-in-law, expresses her desire to become a doctor like him.
In the hospital, Digvijay demands 10 lakh for a transplant operation, citing the risks involved, though he only received 5 lakh.
At home, Digvijay is welcomed by his family and sits down to eat, but his father begins taunting him about the losses his anger may bring. Biju informs the family that Digvijay is considering joining a more profitable hospital. Digvijay, however, asserts that he will make decisions based on what benefits him. His grandmother, Dadi, supports his pursuit of wealth, but Biju urges Digvijay to think carefully before making hasty choices. Digvijay, frustrated, argues with his father, slamming him for lecturing him.
