Mishri and her father are in Vrindavan. She asks her father to buy her something, and he gives her a magical pencil, saying she can get anything she writes with it. When she asks if she can get her mother back, he tells her to study well and pursue her dreams, as this would make her mother very happy. Mishri accidentally drops the pencil and jumps out of the auto to retrieve it, everyone gets out to see Mishri but her father is stuck inside the auto. Just then, the cylinder in the auto blasts. Other passengers say they survived because of Mishri and consider her a blessing, but she cries over her father’s dead body. A stranger remarks that she is lucky for others, but her fate is unfortunate.

Years later, Mishri is grown up and praying in a temple. She returns home and sees her aunt (Chachi) sleeping. Not wanting to wake her up, she quietly starts her chores with Giri’s help. Mishri mentions she has a busy day because she’s getting her admit card. Giri points out that she forgot to wash the utensils. Her grandmother tells her to leave quickly and that she’ll wash them instead, even though she’s too old for such work. Mishri hides the dirty utensils and promises to wash them later. After her grandmother blesses her, she leaves.

Meanwhile, Raghav greets his mother, who tells him to pray at the temple. He lovingly calls her his god. She has a wheezing problem, and he helps her, refusing to leave. She prays for a kind and loving girl to come into his life. Vaani is waiting for Raghav and gets a call from him, apologizing for the delay. She asks him to go straight to the orphanage.

At school, Mishri accidentally touches Anu’s ceremonial plate, and Anu’s in-laws mock her for her dark skin. Mishri explains that skin color doesn’t matter, using Krishna as an example, and they agree to the marriage alliance. Mishri receives her admit card and is overjoyed.

Meanwhile, Mishri’s uncle wakes up, eager to see her face because it’s election result day. He scolds Bela for delaying his tea, and Grandma covers for Mishri. After seeing Mishri’s face, he wins the election. Bela discovers that Mishri left the house, and Grandma feels helpless without anyone to assist her. Raghav surprises Vaani, but she complains about his delays and not discussing their marriage with his family. He promises to talk to them. Bela tortures Mishri and burns her admit card. Grandma assures Mishri that someone will come to wipe her tears and protect her. Raghav consoles Vaani about her sister Meenu, whom she regrets not helping. Later, Mishri’s uncle flirts with her, leaving her feeling helpless.
