She calls for Mangal, but Sowmya insists Mangal isn’t home and urges Adit to act quickly. As hospital staff take Kusum, Mangal arrives and blocks the ambulance, insisting Kusum has been drugged rather than mentally unstable.
A doctor confirms Mangal’s suspicion, revealing Kusum suffered panic attacks due to drug overdose, and she does not need to be institutionalized. Adit agrees to keep Kusum home but wonders who drugged her, while Sowmya looks nervous. Mangal later discovers Sowmya has the same saree as hers, making her suspicious. That night, she catches Sowmya red-handed trying to drug Kusum again.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi pressures Jia to confess, and Jia admits to falsely accusing Karthik of molestation in hopes of winning him over. Raghuveer and Gayatri trick Jia into believing Prema is in danger, extracting her confession. Jia then realizes she has been deceived and panics about the consequences. Lakshmi prays for Karthik’s innocence as he prepares for his court hearing. Meanwhile, Jia hires goons to stop Karthik’s family from presenting evidence.
As the Nigam family heads to court, the goons ambush them but fail to find the proof. Lakshmi, traveling separately, realizes her rickshaw driver is a goon and escapes. At court, the judge notes Raghuveer’s absence. Gayatri informs Lakshmi that Raghuveer has also gone missing. Soon, Lakshmi receives a video call from Prema, who threatens to kill Raghuveer if Lakshmi does not hand over the evidence.
