Sowmya gives Mangal a sugar bottle and wonders why Mangal hasn’t made tea even though she has finished making Laddoos. After making tea, Mangal notices the laddoos and decides to offer them to God. The family gathers for the pooja, and Sowmya requests to perform a small ritual beforehand. While Mangal explains Vasant Panchami to Akshat, Sowmya takes the opportunity to spike the Laddoos. Once the ritual is over, she starts chanting Mantras but struggles, so Mangal steps in to lead the Pooja.
Akshat questions why Sowmya performed the pooja instead of Mangal. When the family is about to eat the Laddoos, Sowmya insists that Kusum, the elder, should eat first. However, Mangal reminds her of their tradition—that the person who performs the Pooja eats first. Sowmya hesitates, making excuses about allergies and dieting, but Mangal forces her to eat the spiked Laddoo. Soon after, Sowmya feels dizzy and drops the plate.
Adit checks on her, but she pushes him away. Mangal then accuses Sowmya of drugging Kusum to make her seem mentally ill and send her to an asylum. Adit believes the accusation and throws water on Sowmya, despite her protests.
Meanwhile, Sanjana gives Jia a box containing Gayatri’s ashes and insists she must perform a ritual to give Gayatri peace. Jia refuses at first but eventually complies, asking for forgiveness as she pours the ashes into the Havan. Elsewhere, Lakshmi is about to confront Jia when Raghuveer calls, telling her to abort the plan because Prema has filed a police complaint, delaying their case. However, Lakshmi refuses to miss the opportunity to get Jia’s confession. Despite Gayatri’s concerns, Lakshmi insists she will handle Jia alone.
