The Episode starts with Mahek scolding Sejal for talking bad about Jhanak. Ketki agrees with Sejal, saying that everything went wrong since Jhanak came. She clarifies she’s not blaming Jhanak for being part of some criminal case but says Jhanak hasn’t proved to be the Lakshmi of their house. Ketki adds, anything can happen with Vihaan. Anirudh defends Jhanak, saying Ketki will be proud of her one day. Sejal questions how he can be so sure, and Anirudh replies that while he doesn’t know the future, he’s certain Vihaan got the best wife. Prachi tells Anirudh to take homemade kheer for Arshi, but Anirudh questions the need. Jhanak suggests he should care for Arshi since she needs proper nutrition. Ketki sarcastically tells him to take kheer for his family. Anirudh thanks Jhanak for her concern, but Jhanak modestly says it’s no big deal as Arshi is pregnant.
Shubh lashes out at Bipasha and Lal for never offering help. Dadi shifts the conversation to Mimi’s marriage, urging Lal to contribute financially. Lal excuses himself, saying he can’t afford it, prompting Anjana to accuse him of neglecting his responsibilities despite earning well. Bipasha shifts blame onto Anirudh, calling him Mimi’s real brother and saying the marriage should be his responsibility. Arshi supports this, stating Anirudh will handle the expenses and offers her own savings. Bablu steps in, claiming responsibility for Mimi’s wedding, citing his own savings. Shubh insists it’s his duty to fund the wedding and storms off.
Vihaan later invites Anirudh to visit with his family after Arshi gives birth. Anirudh promises to try, and Jhanak insists he must bring Arshi. Ketki further invites them for Ahaan’s first birthday celebration and hints at arranging Priyanshi’s wedding next. When Jhanak points out that Priyanshi’s marriage isn’t yet decided, Ketki insists she’s already chosen a groom and plans to finalize the match. Jhanak tries to advocate for Priyanshi’s desire to study, but Ketki shuts her down, claiming her decision is final. Mahek supports Jhanak, but Ketki scolds her as well. Praveen Kumar attempts to mediate, stating education isn’t wrong, but Ketki dismisses him, asserting her authority over family matters. Vihaan diffuses the argument, suggesting they discuss it later. Anirudh advises Ketki to reconsider, as times have changed, and girls should be independent before marriage. Ketki disagrees, saying women can pursue their goals after marriage. As Anirudh goes to pack, Ketki instructs Jhanak to prepare laddus and kheer for him.
Bipasha and Lal question Arshi about her conversation with Anirudh. Lal doubts whether Anirudh is truly in Gujarat, while Bipasha points out that the distance between Gujarat and Mumbai isn’t significant, subtly hinting that Arshi should watch for Anirudh’s interactions with Jhanak.
Jhanak brings laddus to Anirudh’s room, and he questions why she came. Feeling uncomfortable, she asks if she made a mistake. Anirudh assures her he doesn’t want her to face complications in her marriage, reminding her she already married a stranger. Jhanak confesses that marriage feels like a joke in her life.
Anjana criticizes Choton for canceling his wedding, but he defends his decision, citing Mrinalini’s lack of communication with her father about his conditions. Anjana warns him that Mrinalini won’t forgive him, but Choton worries she might share her father’s mindset in the future. Bipasha sides with Choton, stating the couple wouldn’t have been happy together. Dadi scolds Bipasha for interfering, but Bipasha stands firm, calling Choton’s decision the right one.
Jhanak pleads with Anirudh not to reveal her truth to Vihaan. Anirudh advises her to be honest, admitting he already told Vihaan that he knows her but withheld further details. Jhanak expresses her desire for a peaceful life and asks Anirudh not to return.
