Riddhi firmly tells Gangadhar that he can never be more than her father-in-law, to which Gangadhar responds understandingly. Later, Neel goes inside to speak with Riddhi, who struggles with her emotions, acknowledging Gangadhar’s kindness but unable to call him father. Neel confronts her about hurting Gangadhar, but Riddhi counters by questioning whether Neel has told his family about his decision to be a ghar jamai (live-in son-in-law). Meanwhile, Sumati taunts Gangadhar, saying Riddhi is arrogant and will never change, comparing her to a bitter gourd. She sends Manjari to bring Neel back.
Kamlesh applies ointment to Kanchan’s leg when she hears noises from Riddhi’s room. Inside, Neel pulls Riddhi close and covers her mouth, shocking her as they share an intense moment. Kanchan witnesses this and leaves. Riddhi, unsettled, warns Neel never to do that again and insists he inform his parents about the ghar jamai condition before their wedding. Neel teases her by calling her his future wife, leaving her stunned. As he exits, he spots Manjari and wonders if she overheard their conversation.
Manjari, visibly upset, runs away, but Neel catches up to her. She accuses him of choosing luxury over family and insists she will tell their parents the truth. Neel pleads, explaining that he loves Riddhi and that Kanchan set the ghar jamai condition for their marriage. Manjari, hurt, questions whether he can bear to be away from his family and calls him a bad son and brother before running off.
Parameshwari comforts Riddhi, who confesses that Neel has not yet informed his parents about the condition. Parameshwari reassures her that Neel will handle the situation. Manjari attempts to reveal the truth to their parents, but Neel intervenes, hugging her and whispering that he will tell them at the right time. Meanwhile, Kanchan instructs Vicky to stop Neel from reaching the wedding venue.
