Riddhi decides to thank Neel, but before she can, Neel reminds her about the cheque she promised to give him. She tells him he will receive it after the court marriage and advises him to review the contract papers beforehand. She explains that the marriage will last for six months, after which they will part ways. Neel agrees, saying she will get what she wants, and he will get what he wants. Riddhi thinks that she once believed poor people had good hearts, but Neel proved her wrong, showing that even they will do anything for money. On the other hand, Neel thinks to himself that he’s doing this solely for revenge. Riddhi tells him to meet her at the court by 10 a.m., and he reminds her not to forget the cheque. She assures him she never breaks her commitments, and he leaves.
Kanchan notices Neel and Riddhi talking outside the room and wonders what it’s about. Simran tells Parameshwari she’s relieved Neel is around to help her. Kamlesh comments on how Neel always seems to be present everywhere. Later, Riddhi enters the room and recalls Parameshwari’s instruction not to tell Kanchan about the marriage. Kanchan notices Riddhi acting evasive and questions her about avoiding eye contact. Riddhi brushes it off, saying she’s just worried about Parameshwari. Parameshwari feels pleased that Riddhi lied to Kanchan, believing it signifies good days ahead. Kanchan, however, remains suspicious, thinking something isn’t right.
Neel visits Shashaank’s house and sees his family sleeping on the floor. He remembers his promise to renovate their home and buy a proper bed for Gangadhar. Sitting beside them, he reflects on how truth is above all but admits he’s compromising for now. He apologizes to his family for lying and reveals that his upcoming marriage is a contract-based arrangement for six months. Riddhi, noticing Kanchan asleep, apologizes for not being able to share her decision to marry Neel. She confesses to herself that this isn’t a real marriage but merely a compromise.
The next morning, Sumati tells Shashaank’s parents she will clean and then prepare breakfast. Shashaank’s father assures her it’s unnecessary, bringing breakfast to her instead. Sumati insists on helping, but Gangadhar says they don’t want to be a burden. Shashaank’s father reassures Gangadhar, telling him not to speak that way. Sumati asks Neel if he went out the previous night. Manjari confirms she saw him, and Gangadhar speculates that Neel must have gone to arrange a place for them to stay. Sumati, however, notes that Neel never leaves without informing her.
At the temple, Neel confronts God for not stopping Kanchan from ruining his family. He laments that he has tolerated everything so far, but Kanchan has crossed the line. Neel vows that sinners will face justice and victims will be vindicated. He resolves to expose Kanchan in front of her family.
Precap: Neel demands cheques before marrying Riddhi. Kanchan confronts Parameshwari for planning Neil and Riddhi’s marriages. She agrees for the marriage if Neel stays at her home/ghar jamai after marriage.
