Jagriti is driving when Suraj, speeding, overtakes her and accidentally hits her side-view mirror. She follows him and later sees him hit a four-wheel vegetable vendor. When Suraj argues with the vendor, Jagriti intervenes, telling him he’s at fault and should compensate the vendor, but Suraj refuses.
Meanwhile, a Pandit warns Kalikant that a Chitta girl will become their daughter-in-law and destroy his power. Akash dismisses the prophecy, but the Pandit suggests Suraj might be the one to marry a Chitta girl. Akash argues that Suraj would never help, let alone marry, a Chitta girl.
Jagriti sees a wedding procession, triggering traumatic memories that cause her to faint. Suraj catches her and takes her to the hospital, where the doctor says her BP spiked due to trauma. When asked for his name, Suraj tells the doctor to write “Akash.” Jagriti later wakes up and learns that “Akash” admitted her.
While driving, Jagriti helps a Chitta girl being chased by Kalikant’s goons, misleading them and taking the girl to safety. The girl reveals that many Chitta girls are taken under false promises of jobs and return traumatized. Jagriti decides to handle the matter personally.
Akash warns Suraj to stay away from Chitta girls, relaying Kalikant’s concerns. Suraj is upset that he wasn’t invited to the family Pooja. Later, Jagriti is followed by someone and confronted by Simple, Dimple, and Sapna, who warn her to stay away from Akash. When Sapna trips her, Akash catches Jagriti. Soon after, Jagriti sees Kalikant’s goons abducting the Chitta girl and notes down their car’s number.
