The Episode starts with Adrija expressing her concerns to Chandan about Zoravar’s refusal to accept Meghla or their marriage. She blames herself for the situation, but Chandan reassures her that Meghla has the support of Ranbir and the rest of the family. He admits he is surprised by Adrija’s change in behavior. Mahua questions his remark, prompting Chandan to defend himself and suggest Adrija move on from the past. Mahua agrees with him, but after Chandan leaves, Adrija complains that he doesn’t trust her. Mahua comforts her, denying this assumption and then escorts the guests away. Adrija pretends to be fasting and sends others inside, secretly plotting to send the gifts Mahua reserved for the maids to Meghla’s in-laws, intending to cause trouble.
At the Bajwa residence, Ranbir’s cousins and Arjun argue about who will open the gifts sent by Meghla’s parents. They decide to wait for Meghla. When she arrives, Param asks her permission to open the gifts, but Amarjeet appears, refusing to bless Meghla. Zoravar harshly criticizes Meghla, prompting Meher to defend her. Zoravar retaliates by insulting Meher with remarks about Abin, which angers Balveer, who firmly tells Zoravar to stop his nonsense.
Param inquires about Ranbir’s whereabouts, which Zoravar misconstrues as a threat. Param clarifies his intentions, and Meher informs them that Ranbir is out. She notices Meghla is upset and asks about it. Meghla apologizes to the family for her previous behavior toward the elders. Simran encourages the family to let bygones be bygones.
Param lightens the mood by opening Arjun’s gift, only for everyone to be shocked by the sight of torn clothes. Meher questions Meghla, who defends her parents, suggesting a misunderstanding. Amarjeet taunts Meghla’s parents, but Meghla staunchly defends their decision to adopt her, calling it thoughtful and noble. Simran opens Amarjeet’s gift next, finding an old saree, followed by other gifts containing similarly disappointing items. The family voices their displeasure, and Balveer orders the gifts to be returned to the Sen family the next day.
Meher and Harman suspect a mix-up with the gifts, but Zoravar seizes the opportunity to berate Meghla’s parents. Meghla tries to defend them but faces Zoravar’s warnings. Simran defies Meher’s wishes and opens Ranbir and Meghla’s gifts, revealing expensive clothing for both. The unexpected discovery prompts Amarjeet to demand that Meher call Chandan immediately for questioning.
Meghla believes the gifts were accidentally switched. Harman insists Chandan would never deliberately insult them. Param suspects Adrija’s involvement, but the family, except for Arjun, dismisses the idea. The blame falls heavily on Chandan. Meher accuses Meghla of being oblivious to their feelings. Balveer sternly warns Meghla that if her parents continue to insult them, they will end the ties. Meghla is shocked, and Zoravar piles on more insults. Despite her attempts to defend her parents, Meher silences her.
