Anurag tries to Durga’s hand but she says no. He says I am so happy for you, you will become a doctor soon as its your dream. She says yes, I want to become a doctor to help poor people. He says you promised to write my name on the tree when you can spell it, now you can so just write it. She says what will people say if they see it? He says so what? Nobody would know its you. Will our names never be written together. She says I will write it when the right time comes. He asks for a promise and she makes it. He asks her to come here tomorrow to decorate the tree. Durga is reluctant so he says don’t worry, come with me. They roam around the village and dance together. Anurag and her have a bike ride together and they come to the market. He buys bangles for her.
Bai tells Indira to buy her saree first as her choice is best here. Aarti looks on. Bai asks her to buy something too. She says I will wear anything you get for me. Bai says I have always given you good items, you are Vikram’s wife but never match his class. Indira is different and way more classy so her saree has to be the best. Savitri comes there and asks Aarti to buy a good saree. She asks for a luxury saree for her. Bai says you burn your sons’ money, I have handled everything here, I have made sure everyone has good things here but you are brainless. Your kids are going to the city soon so prepare for that. Savitri says I will never go to the city. Bai taunts Aarti that she wants to feel like a queen but she can never be. Indira says not everyone can rock luxury stuff but she can keep it. Aarti says I don’t need it, I don’t go out much so its fine. Savitri says its a gift from me and I am buying it so you have to keep it. Bai glares at her.
Durga is playing with goat babies and Anurag smiles at her. Suddenly it starts raining so they both stand under the shed but she says we should enjoy it. She goes out and dances in the rain. Anurag smiles at her and plays flute. She dances around him and they stare at each other. Vikram’s assistant Rajesh sees them together and his man tells him that they keep meeting in private and people have started gossiping about them. He goes to them so Durga moves away from Anurag. He asks Anurag where is he coming from? He says I don’t need to answer you. Rajesh says it has stopped raining so you should stop filthy acts. I am your father’s servant so I am telling you to be careful. Anurag tells him to stay in his limits and he will talk to his father. He holds Durga’s hand and starts to leave but Rajesh’s goons stop them.
