Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai 20th August 2024 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.News
Angoori is feeling down because she misses her brother Puttan on Rakshabandhan. Since Puttan went to jail, she hasn’t been able to contact him. A delivery boy suggests that she could tie the rakhi on Vibhu’s wrist, the unemployed man who lives across from her, but Vibhu, overhearing this, gets angry at the idea. Angoori declines and instead gives the delivery boy Puttan’s jail address so he can deliver the rakhi there.
Later, Tiwari finds Angoori crying and asks why she’s upset. She explains that she’s missing her brother, but Tiwari dismisses her feelings, calling Puttan a criminal. Angoori accuses Tiwari of not understanding a sister’s pain, which makes Tiwari emotional. He starts crying too, revealing that he lost his sister just before Rakshabandhan when she drowned in a river and was never seen again. He even says he would give 50,000 rupees if she ever came back, surprising the delivery boy.
Meanwhile, Anu is on a video call with her brother, asking him to visit. He says he lives in America, far from India. David joins the conversation as Anu prepares the rakhi. Tiwari arrives, and David sarcastically calls him their dumb neighbor. Anu, confused about where to tie the rakhi after the ritual, is advised by her brother to tie it on Tiwari’s wrist. Tiwari, scared, makes an excuse and quickly leaves. Saxena then appears, and David suggests that Anu ties the rakhi on his wrist. Saxena eagerly agrees and asks for her blessing on his research about a neighboring city, Karachi. David jokes that he could have chosen a better city to research.
Angoori continues to feel sad and talks to her father about missing Puttan. Vibhu arrives and asks what Puttan did to end up in jail. Angoori explains that he robbed a jewelry store. Vibhu offers to cheer her up with a song, but Angoori requests a song related to brothers and sisters. Vibhu leaves to find one.
At a tea stall, Tillu is stressed and asks Prem for 2,000 rupees, but Prem mocks him and refuses. Tillu, desperate, wonders what to do. A priest arrives, talking about someone’s birth chart and predicting they will become wealthy soon. Tillu and Teeka ask the priest to predict their futures. Despite being told their lives are full of bad luck, the priest assures them they have a bright future and advises them to start gambling, much to their surprise.
In another scene, Anu, Vibhu, and David are sitting together. Anu is drinking coffee, and Vibhu complains that they’re out of food supplies. Anu suggests he go buy some, but Vibhu says he has no money. Anu demands 25,000 rupees from him every month, threatening to leave the house if he doesn’t provide it. David defends Vibhu, but Anu insists they both need to contribute or leave. Vibhu then recalls Tiwari offering 50,000 rupees to anyone who finds his lost sister and comes up with a plan, which he shares with David.
