Scene 1
Shikhar tells Shagun that only she will cut the ribbon and do his shop opening, Shagun says fine but she has a condition, she doesn’t want Avani to be there. Avani is hurt hearing that and says what? Shagun tells Shikhar to choose between them. Avani says its his big day so please don’t do this. Shikhar recalls Avani supporting his business and Shagun suffering because of Vidyut. He says enough.. he promises Shagun that Avani won’t come to the opening ceremony. Avani is hurt and recalls her dream of him becoming a businessman and doing so much for him. Anika comes there and says how can you do this papa? He says I promised my sister so I will fulfil it, she will cut the ribbon and Avani won’t be there. Anika says this is all happening because of her only. Shagun says don’t argue with him. Ashok says this is wrong, he leaves. Suman says Avani did a mistake and paying the price. Shikhar says this is final and leaves.
Avani comes to the kitchen to sleep, Shikhar is there and says please invite the priest for the ceremony. She says why are you punishing me? he says its not only you that’s punished.. he says Suman wants them to fast for the opening. He goes to sleep. Avani tries to sleep but can’t. She makes a plan and goes to Shagun. She finds her sleeping and says she should pack gifts for guests. She says Shikhar will calm down by the morning.
Scene 2
In the morning, Shikhar is calling his clients and is excited. Suman says so many people are coming to his opening. Ashok says everyone but his wife will be there. Shagun says she did this to herself. Shikhar asks if she packed the gifts? Shagun says she did it yesterday. Avani tells him about which gift will be given to whom. She asks Shagun to manage them but Shagun says its not her job, ask catering people. Avani says she didn’t hire them as she wanted to save money. Shagun says they will curse you for not giving them a job. Avani looks on. Shikhar asks Avani to get ready for the pooja but Shagun stops her. Shikhar realises his mistake. Shagun asks Avani to give her saree to her as she isn’t going to the event now. Avani is hurt but nods and leaves. Anika is angry seeing all that.
Anika comes to Avani and says Shagun can’t keep treating her like this, how can papa do this? Avani says don’t worry about it.
The door bell rings, Shikhar opens it to find Pandey and Ritu there. He taunts Pandey. Ritu greets him and goes inside. Shikhar asks Pandey how is he? he says I am fine, let’s forget whatever happened and move on. Shikhar hugs him and asks him to come to the opening.
Avani tells Anika that Shikhar won’t go without them, don’t worry about it. Ritu comes there and asks if they are ready for the event? she will shine today. Anika says I want that too. Ritu praises Avani’s saree but she says Shikhar got it and Shagun will wear it. Ritu says why? don’t be a saint all the time. Anika says she isn’t listening to me. Ritu asks if something happened? Avani says she just wants to wear a normal saree.
