Rupa wonders why Saraswati is upset with her. Shlok explains that Saraswati had an English test at the party and lies to her, saying Rupa went out to buy a saree for her as a gift because she didn’t want Saraswati wearing an ordinary saree at the event. Rupa plays along and presents the saree to Saraswati, but Saraswati dismisses it, saying it’s not her style. Shlok compliments Saraswati, saying she looks beautiful in it, but as Saraswati checks the saree, she notices Rupa and Shlok whispering and realizes they are lying. She refuses to accept the saree.
Mahadev calls Ved and asks him to hand the phone to Saraswati. Over the call, Mahadev scolds Saraswati for not speaking properly to Grandma from Chitrakoot. Saraswati tries to explain, but Mahadev, frustrated, hangs up. Upset, Saraswati tells Shlok what happened, mentioning that Mahadev is angry because she didn’t talk to his neighbor respectfully. Ved reminds her that Mahadev is emotionally connected to his village people and questions her carelessness. Saraswati retorts that the villagers now see them as wealthy and are trying to take advantage of their money, mentioning that Girdhar Shukla and his daughter are coming to stay at their house. Shlok promises to ensure his mother isn’t disappointed.
Madhu brings sweets, and Kundan asks her what’s going on. She explains that Girdhar is going to Prayagraj to collect his payment and that Apollena has secured admission to an engineering college. Girdhar mentions he’s running late but assures Madhu he will get the payment to cover Apollena’s fees. When Apollena looks worried, Girdhar reassures her. Grandma tells Madhu that she cares about Apollena’s education, which is why she suggested Girdhar stay at Mahadev’s house to save on hotel expenses.
Elsewhere, Dev informs Munshi that his father has asked for a 20% discount on jewelry, which would leave no profit margin. Rupa admires a new necklace design, but Saraswati snatches it, arguing that it’s meant to be a new launch for the shop and shouldn’t be worn yet. Rupa protests, saying her father always bought her the latest designs. Ved intervenes, scolding Rupa for speaking that way in front of Munshi and reminding her that this isn’t her maternal home. Saraswati tries to placate Rupa, promising to buy her a new necklace for her baby shower. She then pointedly asks when Rupa and Ved plan to share good news, noting it’s been three years.
Ved deflects, suggesting Saraswati focus on finding a bride for Shlok instead. He jokes that Shlok is faster and will give her a grandchild before he does. Just then, Shlok walks in and teases them about talking behind his back. Ved responds with attitude, which Shlok playfully attributes to him becoming more like their father. Shlok then shares his idea of an ideal partner, amusing everyone.
Elsewhere, Apollena is packing her belongings while Madhu worries that Apollena, unlike other girls, is focused solely on her studies and not her appearance. Sangeeta calls Apollena to share that Akshay has been transferred to Kanpur, and she’s off on her honeymoon, leaving Renuka alone at home. Apollena assures her she’ll check on Renuka. Later, Apollena finds Renuka at a medical shop, visibly unwell, and helps her before she collapses.
