Mahadev reassures Saraswati that Apollena is capable of learning their traditions quickly and she need not worry about her. Saraswati is shocked when Rastogi arrives with her friends, accusing her of secretly conducting her son’s wedding without informing them. Rastogi insists on meeting the new daughter-in-law and seeing if she fits into the family. Mahadev calls out Rastogi’s real intention—to humiliate rather than congratulate Saraswati—but Rastogi denies it, stating they are only there to witness Apollena’s first rasoi ritual to test her cooking skills.
Saraswati, feeling pressured, informs them that Apollena is in her room. Rastogi remarks that had Shlok married Irani instead, she would have performed the ritual beautifully. Irani arrives and taunts Saraswati, implying Apollena doesn’t know how to cook. She conspires with her mother to embarrass Saraswati and create distance between Shlok and Apollena.
Meanwhile, Apollena, preparing for college, tells Shlok she has an important lecture. Saraswati demands she complete the rasoi ritual, fearing humiliation in front of the guests. Apollena refuses, arguing Shlok should clean his own mess, which offends Saraswati. Mahadev intervenes, stating no one goes against Saraswati in their house and she may leave for college after completing the ritual.
Irani, growing suspicious of Shlok’s behavior, eavesdrops on his conversation with Varun. Later, as Apollena multitasks by attending her lecture via video call while cooking, Irani sabotages her by adding lemon juice to the milk and swapping the sugar with salt. Shlok, realizing the trick, secretly finds a way to help Apollena.
