Abhishek Kumar, known for his stint on Bigg Boss 17 and acclaimed as a top contender for the trophy, gracefully embraced the position of first runner-up, expressing satisfaction and acknowledging Munawar Faruqui’s victory as well-deserved. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV post-finale, the Udaariyaan actor candidly discussed Munawar’s win, reflecting on his own journey, and addressing regrets regarding past conflicts.

Expressing his sentiments on Munawar’s victory, Abhishek shared, “To be very frank, I wanted to win the show badly, but when Munawar got the trophy, I actually did not feel bad. I remember during the third week we were discussing the finale… Two weeks ago he had mentioned that if I won the show, he wouldn’t feel bad and I also said the same thing.” He further expressed gratitude for the recognition he received post-show, acknowledging the support despite lacking a significant fan following initially.

Reflecting on personal growth during his Bigg Boss journey, Abhishek highlighted the positive influence of his mother’s advice, emphasizing the importance of patience and respectful behavior. He acknowledged regrets regarding past conflicts, particularly expressing remorse for engaging in heated exchanges with fellow contestants, such as Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel. Abhishek acknowledged the need to maintain patience as a key to achieving success in life.

Addressing specific regrets, Abhishek candidly admitted, “Yes, I regret saying nasty things to Isha during fights… There were instances when she started, and now I feel I shouldn’t have opened my mouth.” He reflected on the impact of personal attacks during conflicts and expressed a desire to handle situations differently in hindsight, emphasizing the importance of restraint and maintaining composure in tense situations.
