Girdhar gets emotional seeing Apollena with Shlok, feeling betrayed that his daughter chose love over his dreams for her. Apollena notices him and calls out, but Dadi warns her not to leave the rasam midway, as it’s considered a bad omen. Meanwhile, Madhu and Renuka are dancing, but Apollena remains upset. Noticing her mood, Shlok cheers her up, takes a selfie with her, and clarifies that he isn’t doing all this for her—he’s doing it to make his mother happy. He then sends the picture to Saraswati.
Irani, observing this, tells Saraswati that Shlok is hiding something. If he were truly happy with Apollena, he wouldn’t need to send pictures to prove it—he would simply live in the moment. Saraswati refuses to believe anything is wrong, convinced that Shlok would never lie to her. Determined to prove her point, Irani jumps on his bed, pointing out that Shlok previously complained about a noise from the bed. But since nothing seems wrong with it, she believes he lied to avoid sleeping with Apollena. She declares that Shlok belongs to her, and she won’t let anyone take him away.
Meanwhile, Apollena shows Shlok her childhood album. He compliments her childhood pictures, but she gets emotional seeing a picture of Girdhar. Madhu advises her not to worry—if she prepares his favorite dahi vada, he might forgive her. However, Apollena doesn’t know how to cook it. Shlok steps in, saying he knows how. Madhu refuses to let her son-in-law cook, but he insists on helping. Apollena decides to cook for Girdhar herself, with Shlok assisting her.
Later, she presents the dahi vada to Girdhar, but he refuses to eat. She tells him she learned to cook just for him. However, Girdhar bitterly remarks that while millions of women in India can cook this dish, he had a greater dream for her—to send her to space, something few women have dared to do. But she chose marriage over ambition, and now, this is all she will ever do.
Apollena firmly replies that getting married doesn’t mean she has given up on her dreams. She vows to fulfill his ambitions for her. Girdhar, however, argues that she won’t even get admission into the Air Force in her current situation and demands that she leave. When she refuses, he gives her an electric shock to scare her. Madhu pleads with her to walk away, but in her guilt, Apollena shocks herself instead. Girdhar storms out. Madhu reassures Apollena that he’s just angry and will forgive her once he knows the truth.
Meanwhile, Irani hatches a new plan to keep Shlok away from Apollena’s house. She convinces Saraswati to place an onion under her arm to fake a fever, knowing Shlok will rush home upon hearing she’s unwell. As Shlok notices Apollena feeling under the weather, he lightens the mood with a joke. At the same time, Irani’s plan works — Saraswati pretends to be sick, and Shlok, concerned for his mother, promises to return home immediately.
Before he leaves, Madhu performs an aarti for Apollena and urges Shlok to support her in completing her education. He promises he will. Meanwhile, Saraswati struggles to keep up the act, but Irani insists she must pretend until Shlok returns. That night, Shlok worries about his mother, but as he looks over, he sees Apollena fast asleep. Irani, determined as ever, vows to take Shlok away from her.
