Now, she even has to sacrifice her sleep to visit her rival, Mangal, in the hospital—at least she can put on a show of fake concern. She smirks, thinking about Mangal’s situation.
Mangal reassures Kusum that Adit will be fine and steps away to get water. Just then, Sowmya arrives, pretending to be shocked by the news. She acts as if she just found out and insists that even though she has no real relationship with Adit, she is still worried for him. Kusum isn’t fooled and confronts her, questioning why she ruined Adit’s married life if she truly had no connection with him.
When Sowmya claims she isn’t a bad person, Kusum demands that she leave. But Sowmya boldly declares that she will take over Kusum’s place and care for Adit and his family, including his children. Mangal suddenly intervenes, making it clear that she doesn’t need Sowmya’s help—she will take care of her family herself. Sowmya is stunned. Sowmya is confused. Whose surgery is happening inside? The doctor soon informs them that Adit is out of danger, but his leg injury will leave him unable to walk for months. Shocked, Sowmya is puzzled—she had tampered with Mangal’s car brakes, so how did the accident happen? Frustrated, she criticizes the doctor’s expertise, arguing that modern technology could help Adit recover. She demands his discharge to transfer him to a better hospital. The doctor warns that doing so could risk his life. Mangal, grateful for the doctor’s efforts, refuses to move Adit elsewhere, leading to a heated argument. Sowmya accuses Mangal of taking revenge on Adit for betraying her.
Mangal stands her ground, refusing to stoop to Sowmya’s level. She won’t discharge Adit because, as the mother of his children, she has the right to make this decision. Later, Adit is moved to a room, where his son expresses his love for him. Sowmya steps out to take a call, while Adit asks Mangal to inform his office about his accident. She hesitates, unsure how to tell him that he won’t be able to walk. Mangal then consoles Kusum and sends her home with the children.
Adit, upset that Sowmya didn’t visit him sooner, ignores her. As the nurse announces the end of visiting hours, Sowmya decides to convince him in the morning. That night, Mangal watches over Adit, who struggles to reach for water and ends up falling. As Mangal helps him, he realizes his legs are numb. Though she hesitates to reveal the truth, the doctor steps in and tells him everything.
Meanwhile, Karthik expresses his gratitude to Raghveer for helping his family. Raghveer credits his wife, Lakshmi, for her relentless efforts. He then asks Karthik to accompany him to the police station for formalities. As Karthik leaves, Lakshmi prepares a romantic surprise for him, only to realize it was just a dream.
Lakshmi searches for Karthik, but Nidhi teases her for daydreaming. Gayathri mentions that Umesh went to bring him back. However, the inspector informs them that Karthik has already left. Lakshmi scolds him for his carelessness, and he warns that once released from jail, Karthik is no longer under their protection. To her horror, she hears that a man matching Karthik’s description has died in an accident. Rushing to the scene, she faints from relief upon realizing it isn’t him.
Later, the family desperately searches for Karthik. Lakshmi suspects Jia is behind his disappearance, but Nidhi reminds her that Jia is in jail. Determined, Lakshmi goes to the police station for answers. Finally, Karthik returns home, and Gayathri hugs him in relief—only to be shocked when she sees Jia with him. Blocking her from entering, she demands an explanation. But Karthik stuns everyone by defending Jia, declaring that he loves her.
