The episode begins with Virat forcibly opening the lift door. Amruta pleads with him to stop, worried he might hurt himself. Virat, frustrated, questions if she’s lost her mind. Amruta then turns to Ranvir and asks if he wants to get out, attempting to open the door herself. Ranvir pulls her away, concerned for her safety. Amruta, in tears, questions why he stopped her, saying he should have let her die. She expresses that she lost him two years ago and can’t bear to lose him again. Overcome with emotion, she hugs Ranvir.
Babita tells Bhavani that Amruta has gone to find out the truth about Ranvir. Bhavani accuses Babita of using Amruta to confirm if Ranvir is really Virat, criticizing her and siding with Mandira’s opinion. Bhavani firmly declares that Virat is dead and will never return, no matter what Babita does. Enraged, Babita raises her hand to slap Bhavani, but Bhavani warns her not to try it again. Babita, furious, demands that Bhavani leave, but Bhavani refuses, saying she’ll leave only when Amruta returns and adds a sharp remark.
At the mall, Abhir and Shekar arrive. Abhir confronts Manvi, questioning why she called the police over something so minor. Manvi criticizes Amruta, claiming she’s forgotten her place, and says she’s going to remind Amruta of it today.
After a while, the lift doors open, and Ranvir and Amruta step out. Ranvir complains to Manvi about Amruta’s actions. In response, Manvi and her lawyer serve Amruta with a restraining order, warning her that if she approaches Ranvir again, she’ll be sent to jail. After issuing the warning, Manvi and Ranvir leave. Abhir turns to Amruta and asks what she achieved from all of this before walking away. Amruta, looking at a strand of Ranvir’s hair in her hand, reflects on how she plucked it when she hugged him. She silently thinks that once the DNA test is done, the truth will be revealed.
Amruta, Abhir, and Shekar return home. Bebe scolds Amruta for her actions, and Asha reprimands her for her reckless behavior, reminding her of how she accused others before. Babita apologizes to Asha on Amruta’s behalf. Shekar then takes Asha away.
Bhavani chastises Amruta, accusing her of abandoning her rituals for Nimrit and running to confirm Ranvir’s identity. She tells Amruta that if Virat were alive, he would be angry with her for hurting Nimrit. Bhavani leaves, and Abhir, feeling sympathetic, follows her. He tells Bhavani that no one is understanding Amruta’s pain. He reminds her that Amruta is struggling with the sudden appearance of Virat’s lookalike and urges Bhavani to listen to Amruta before passing judgment. Bhavani agrees to listen.
Later, Amruta apologizes to Nimrit for not being there for her Chunri festival. Nimrit asks if Amruta has found any proof that Ranvir isn’t Virat. Amruta confidently replies that she already has proof from Goa. However, in her thoughts, she’s certain that the truth will soon be revealed—that Ranvir is indeed Virat.
That night, Ranvir dreams of his moments with Amruta and wakes up distressed. Manvi notices and asks if he’s having nightmares again. Ranvir confirms, saying that Amruta was also in his dream. He admits that he feels like he’s Virat. Manvi reassures him that he is not Virat but her Ranvir. She tells him to go back to sleep and leaves the room.
