Adit confronts Sowmya, accusing her of trying to make Kusum mentally ill. Mangal supports Adit, criticizing Kusum’s manipulative behavior. Adit, enraged, orders Sowmya to leave the house. Meanwhile, Kusum pressures Sowmya to eat a laddoo, but she hesitates and drops it. Mangal, noticing Sowmya’s weakness, forcibly feeds her the laddoo. As Sowmya struggles, Akshat jokes about eating multiple laddoos, but Mangal stops him, allowing Sowmya to escape.
In her room, Sowmya realizes she must vomit to rid herself of the medicine and forces herself to do so. Later, Mangal suspects her actions and questions whether she tampered with the laddoo. Sowmya denies any wrongdoing, claiming she is on a strict diet.
Adit later commends Sowmya for handling the situation alone and acknowledges Kusum’s improving health. Sowmya insists it’s due to proper treatment and suggests admitting Kusum to a mental asylum, which has recently reopened. Mangal opposes the idea, but Adit sides with Sowmya, determined to proceed for Kusum’s well-being.
Meanwhile, Prema finds Jia performing a ritual to rid Gayatri’s soul. She urges Jia to finish quickly, but Lakshmi arrives, pretending to be haunted. Frightened, Jia throws Gayatri’s ashes into the Havan, but Lakshmi warns her that she cannot escape so easily. Suddenly, Prema is abducted from behind while attempting to stab Lakshmi. Jia, terrified, asks what Lakshmi wants. Lakshmi demands a confession, revealing that Prema is tied up with a knife poised to fall on her. Desperate to save Prema, Jia agrees to confess.
