The Episode starts with Ayush telling Anushka that their relationship was never that of a husband and wife. He reminds her that even before their marriage, he had made it clear that he could never love her as his wife because he loves Shalu. He says I told you, as I am not fake. He tells her that he never betrayed her and accuses Anushka of betraying him by hiding the truth, yet she expects him to fill her hairline with sindoor on knife point. He asks her to stab him again and again, but he will not fill sindoor in her maang. He tells that his upbringing does not allow him to do so, once he loves someone, he remains devoted to her alone. He refuses to marry anyone else. Rishi tells Lakshmi that this is their family values. He supports Ayush and asks him not to fill anyone’s hairline with sindoor except Shalu’s. Neelam is shocked tries to stop him. Rishi pleads with her to let Ayush do so, emphasizing how long Ayush has waited for this moment, he loves Shalu a lot. He asks Ayush to do what he wants. Ayush looks at Shalu and wipes her tears.
Just then, Aanchal comes there and asks what happened, she heard a gunshot and asks if everything is okay. The distraction gives the police inspector an opportunity, he seizes the gun from Neel and restrains him. Anushka tells that Ayush will be just mine, I will not leave him. Inspector asks Constables to take them. As the police prepare to take Neel and Anushka away, Anushka is furious and curses Shalu, vowing that she will never get Ayush’s love and will spend her life longing for him in vain like her. Lakshmi gets enraged, confronts Anushka, asking how she dare she curse her sister. She tells that she shall not say anything as she is burdened by her sins. She tells Anushka that sinner people curse will become like blessing, as her sister is innocent. She says this is your karma, people reap what they sow, and today, she and Neel are going to jail because of their own actions. She says she never talked to anyone like this, but she forced him to show her this avatar of hers.
Lakshmi says Shalu is like her daughter, and promising that as long as she is there, she won’t let anything happen to her. She says you have to reach me to reach Shalu Anushka curses Lakshmi in reply and she shall not get her love, and shall yearn for love, she will never get Rishi Bhai. She says her heart is hurt and her curse will have the effect on her. Shalu demands that Anushka stop her nonsense else she will kill her. She tries to hit vase on Anushka, but Neel gets hit. Lakshmi stops Shalu.

Inspector asks Constables to take them. As the police begin to take Anushka and Neel away, Ayush suddenly stops them. Anushka assumes this means he still has feelings for her and he can’t see her pain and that’s why stop her. She runs to Ayush. Everyone asks Ayush what he is doing. Ayush silences Anushka, saying he only stopped her to make one thing clear, he wants her to see exactly where she stands in his heart. Anushka asks everyone to see. Ayush looks at Shalu and says I proposed you, but you didn’t accept my love.
Anushka tries to interrupt and asks him to give money to Neel and marry her. He asks her to be quiet. Dadi and Rano come there. Ayush touches his stomach, and says this is the proof of my love, of my relation with Shalu. He then takes his own blood and fills Shalu’s hairline with it, proving the depth of his commitment. Shalu cries and says this…Ayush says don’t scold me now, I am in pain. Shalu asks if you are fine. Karishma gets upset. Anushka, seeing this, loses control and threatens to kill Shalu, but Lakshmi steps in reminding Anushka that she would have to go through her first. Rishi asks Inspector to take them. Inspector says you have to come too. Rishi says I will come later, now I have to take my brother to the hospital. The police then drag Anushka and Neel away from there. Shalu touches her hairline.
Later, the Oberoi family rushes Ayush to the hospital. Karishma is worried. Neelam tells that treatment has started and he will be fine. Lakshmi says nothing will happen to him, your love and blessing is with him. Rishi says I know my brother. Neelam asks about Malishka. Kiran says she sent her home. Everyone comforts Karishma, as Nurse asks her to be aside. Meanwhile, Shalu looks inside the OT through the window pane, and looks at Ayush, lost in thought as she recalls everything that just happened and cries.
Precap: Kiran tells Neelam that if she supports Shalu, then she will come in the house. Lakshmi asks Neelam if she will get Ayush and Shalu’s marriage done if Shalu accepts the proposal.
