Durga tells Anurag that everything between them is over. Anurag asks if she can truly forget everything. Durga says she wishes she could erase it all, even going back to Kinsar to remove her name from the tree. Anurag reacts, but Durga continues, accusing him of forgetting her and now being in love with Suhani. She tells him he’s just like his father, criticizing his behavior. Anurag is taken aback and questions her accusations.
Suhani arrives and asks if she is interrupting. Durga leaves without answering. Anurag silently reflects on her harsh words, vowing in his heart to become what she accused him of. Suhani asks if Durga left because of her presence. When Anurag remains silent, she changes the topic, saying she wants to introduce him to her friends and mentioning they are asking for a treat. Anurag agrees to host the treat the next day, and Suhani happily accepts.
Later, Durga approaches Aarti, asking for help with her college fees. She requests a small portion of her marriage jewelry, which Aarti has been keeping safe, promising to return it once she gets her scholarship. Panibai mocks Durga, saying everything she has in this house is through begging and refusing to give her anything. Aarti defends Durga, reminding Panibai that the jewelry belongs to Durga as it was given to her during Kanyadaan. Aarti insists on helping her.
Indira intervenes, accusing Durga of trying to trap Anurag and questioning why Aarti still supports her. Durga retorts that Anurag approaches her, not the other way around. Aarti warns Durga not to drag Anurag into the matter, reminding her he is soon to be married. Panibai overhears and criticizes Aarti’s actions. Aarti takes Durga to fetch the jewelry, but Panibai hatches a plan to switch Durga’s jewelry with royal jewelry so Durga will be caught selling stolen items and sent to jail. Panibai discusses her scheme with Indira, vowing not to spare Durga.
Aarti asks Durga to eat before leaving. Initially reluctant, Durga agrees when Panibai insists she eat to avoid wasting food. While Durga is distracted eating, Panibai secretly swaps the jewelry. Afterward, she casually tells Durga to check the jewelry and feigns innocence.
