Scene 1
Reet arrives at the wedding venue. Unnati is angry that Dhruv came there as Reet’s brother so she calls him. He goes her and compliments her.
Raghav and Reet are about to exchange garlands Amruta tells RV that they are acting like their lives are going to end. RV says he has an idea. Sharda tries to talk to Raghav but RV asks him to do the ritual first. Raghav puts garland on Reet, Amruta tells Reet to not bow down to him. Reet says I never bow down to anyone. She stands on a stool and tries but Raghav stands taller on a stool. Their friends pump them up so they keep getting higher stools. Reet tells Raghav that it was his wish to marry her so he should let her do the ritual for this wedding to happen. All are chanting for Raghav to not bow down but he suddenly picks Reet in his arms and lifts her so she puts garland on him. All clap for them. RV says Raghav is already wrapped around her finger.
Chandrika pulls Sharda aside and tells her to not spoil Raghav and Reet’s rituals, they are having fun with their friends. Sharda thinks she doesn’t want them to be together or happy either. She goes to Raghav and calls him aside. She is about to tell him but is shocked to see Neeta Chawla there. She thinks what is Raghav’s mother doing here? I will be exposed if he meets with her. She tells Raghav to go ahead and focus on the wedding, he nods and leaves. Sharda is looking around for Neeta. Ibadat (from another show) meets with Sharda and congratulates her. She finds Neeta in the wedding and goes to meet with her. Sharda hides and hears them. Ibadat tells Neeta that she is her idol as she does so much for women. Neeta says I am here for Reet’s wedding. Ibadat says she wants her to meet with someone as she wants her to inspire girls to get an education. She makes her meet with her friends. Neeta thanks them and leaves. Sharda comes there and asks where did Neeta go? Ibadat says I don’t know.
Unnati and Dhruv exchange garlands, Dhruv easily bow down to her. Dhruv says Reet and Raghav will get married first. Raghav says Unnati comes first to him so she will get married first. Dhruv says my culture says elders come first and my sister is important to me. Reet’s mother tells Raghav that Reet and him are elders on both sides so he should get married first. Raghav says fine, if elders think like that then that’s fine. Raghav whispers to Dhruv that he shouldn’t think he would get his way all the time. Dhruv says we will see as Unnati is going to be married to him now.
Reet’s mother tells her that Raghav never says no to her. Reet says thank you for praising him, it makes me feel better?
Reet and Raghav sit in the mandap for the wedding. The priest starts mantras, Reet recalls her moments with Raghav and is nervous. Raghav looks at her.
