Sulekha orders Mishri to drink the dirty water, but Mishri refuses. She tells Sulekha that she has no desire to be the daughter-in-law of this house and that dirty water won’t cleanse her. Instead, Mishri brings Ganga water, stating that it’s the purest and can be used for cleansing. Mishri questions Sulekha’s comments about her being dirty just because she cleans the house. She points out that Parvathi’s hands get dirty while cooking for the family, but no one calls her dirty. Sulekha often goes to the temple, and Mishri asks if she ever considered the dust on her feet dirty. She further mentions that people bathe in the Yamuna to cleanse their sins, yet no one calls the river dirty. Mishri stands her ground, refusing to let Sulekha insult her.
Chithra records everything on her phone and plays it back in front of Mishri. Mishri asks why she felt the need to record the conversation. Chithra responds that Mishri doesn’t seem to want to stay in the house or be the daughter-in-law, and neither does anyone else want her there. Chithra threatens to send the recording to Mishri’s grandmother. Mishri pleads with her not to do it, but Chithra then forces her to drink the dirty water. Just as Mishri is about to drink it, Raghav intervenes and pushes the water away.
Sulekha claims that she was only taking revenge on Mishri for Raghav, but Raghav asserts that this isn’t how things should be done. He tells his family that while this is a battle between him and Mishri, he won’t allow them to torture her. He emphasizes that Mishri is his wife, and it’s his responsibility to deal with her, not theirs. Vaani, witnessing this, accuses Mishri of calling her just to show her this scene. Kalpana tells Vaani that she should never have trusted Mishri.
Mishri tries to explain to Vaani, but Vaani scolds her, telling her to stay away. Vaani warns that if Mishri doesn’t, she will do something drastic that will hurt Raghav. She tells Raghav that she never expected this from him and threatens to file a complaint against him.
Later, Sulekha is seen praying for Raghav in the temple. She refuses to give prasad to Mishri, stating that she is not part of the family. Sulekha instructs Parvathi to prepare breakfast, while Supriya offers Mishri aarti, saying she needs it. Supriya also gives her a gift before leaving.
Meanwhile, Mishri tries to call Vaani and thanks Raghav for standing up for her. Raghav, however, clarifies that he did it for himself, not her. He tells her not to think that he was supporting her because he cares. He explains that while he prevented his family from torturing her, it was only because he believes he has the right to do so himself. He warns that this is just the beginning and reiterates his hatred for her. When Mishri mentions that she has equal rights in his room, Raghav tells her to mind her own business.
Ranjith uses Raghav’s phone to call the inspector and check on the investigation. He learns that the CCTV footage is unclear and decides he needs to get rid of Mishri before any more evidence surfaces. Meanwhile, Mishri uses the perfume that Supriya gifted her, and Raghav sarcastically teaches her how to apply it, saying she can hide her scent but not the dirt in her heart. Just then, the police arrive to arrest Raghav.
