Scene 1
Kusum says it’s Gayatri’s birthday. Mangal ask your mom to not do any drama. She asks Adit to be on time. Adit says we will be there. Kusum says Gayatri is lucky, Karthi does grand celebrations for her birthday. Adit says we can do that for you too. But you don’t like parties. She says I like pooja o my birthday. Adit says okay then. He says I will be home at 6. We wont fit in the car so we will have a cab as well. Mangal says we can fit in the same. adit says you can only adjust for things like doing your sister’s wedding at the temple. Mangal says that’s my mannat. Adit says don’t you dare to say that in front of Gayatri and insult me in front of everyone.
Scene 2
Lakshmi oepns the door. It’s Karthik’s driver. He’s sent a gift for Lakshmi. Lakshmi is happy to receive it. She sees the dress, Shanti looks at her. Karthik gives Gayatri flowers and says happy birthday. He says I wrote a poem for you. What gift do you want? She says you’ve give me all the happiness. She says I will ask on the right time. He says I wont say no to anything.
Shanti takes the dress from Lakshmi and gives it to Lipika. Lakshmu says but that’s my gift. She can’t wear it. Karthik sent it for me. Shanti says tell him you gave it to your sister. Lakshmi says that wont sound good. shanti says you’ve already parted from us?> shanti says you cant even give me thi saree? You shared everything with me in our house. I will wear this saree. Lakshmi says okay. She goes to her room crying,
