Bigg Boss 17 has been a whirlwind of entertainment, marked by constant conflicts, disputes, and strategic mind games. Contestants like Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Vicky Jain, and others have ignited social media with their intense gameplay, while some participants are still striving to carve their niche in the game.

The latest Weekend Ka Vaar proved emotionally intense for a few contestants, subjecting them to a roller-coaster ride of feelings. The weekends offer a crucial platform for guidance from host Salman Khan, shaping the trajectory of the game.

However, breaking news this week reveals a surprising twist as Bollywood icon Salman Khan will be absent from the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar due to prior commitments. Stepping into his illustrious shoes is none other than filmmaker Karan Johar, set to host the impending WKV. Known for his unique style, Karan Johar is expected to engage with the contestants in his distinctive manner.

This isn’t the first time Karan Johar has taken charge in Salman Khan’s absence. In the 16th season, he successfully hosted one of the Weekend Ka Vaars during Salman’s temporary absence.

An avid Bigg Boss fan, Karan Johar, along with his mother, has been devotedly following the show for years. Notably, he hosted the entire first season of Bigg Boss OTT, which crowned Divya Agarwal as the winner and Nishant Bhat as the first runner-up. During his hosting stint, Karan didn’t shy away from reprimanding contestants he felt were crossing boundaries in the name of the game.

The shooting for this Weekend Ka Vaar with Karan Johar at the helm is scheduled to take place tomorrow, promising a fresh dynamic to the show’s unfolding drama.
